Things looking up???

I've had a pretty poor couple of years, works been very hand to mouth, customers have been really focused on price and there seem to have been people out there working for nothing.

 

But over the last couple of months things seem to have really improved, customers seem more relaxed about money, they appear much more likely to be looking for a good job as opposed to just the cheapest price.

 

I've spoken to mates of mine in other industries and they to seem to be finding things a little better.

 

So are things looking up, or is just the autumn bounce???

i'd say its just an Autumn bounce, but who knows. Jan/Feb will be the decider

It's the autumn bounce. Winds are picking up and that tree doesn't look so safe anymore. Plus it's the winter worry that gets people. Will that tyre last until after Christmas or should I replace it now before I have no money left..

Yes, had a good run lately, best since before the crisis, the improvement in the pound over here has helped. green shoots and all that....

I've had and am having the same experience Skyhuck but I also think its the autumn bounce.

Lets look back when we get to February and fingers crossed, I'm wrong.

i have found an up turn in the commercial side but have yet to see anything happen on the domestic side , mind you i spend most of my time competeing against the firms that dont have the vat to worry about
