Humans breeding out of control

We make choices everyday, some we're conscious of, others we're not. These choices, they effect others, not just ourselves and, not always in good ways.

But we all need to follow our own paths, no matter where it leads, and be forgiven for our mistakes as we are not perfect.

These choices, they're all up to us now, we should try to make them as best we can. In the end, I guess all that matters is you try to leave this place a little better than when you got here. That time is now

My telly is so heavy they couldn't ,move it.

My van is a shed, so the keys would only be good for scratching others.

You cannot rely on the exponential growth numbers game, we are only here for a spit, some ?yrs others +75yrs....

There is higher probability of disease wiping out most of the worlds poplulations.

The world is continously trying to keep numbers under control with disease, famine etc etc, but we humans keep sticking our oar in and cocking up the master plan. We are stretching the system so far out of kilter that when it eventually snaps, the swing is going to be dramatic.

People always preach doom and gloom about the future, but the reality is that in real term each generation as lived better than the one before.

People alway speak about the "good old day":001_rolleyes: yes lets get back to the days of rickets and people getting all their teeth removed and dentures fitted as a 21st birthday gift :001_huh::001_tt2:

We,re in boom period Dave and not prepared for emergency, one should never let your guard down.

New Orleans is a good example, three days after the flood and they were looting and killing each other for food

There on this morning about encouraging breeding to fill the gap in the pension funding, too many wrinkles and not enough paying tax to keep them

In the world wars land was used to grow crops for food and produce to sustain the uk population because obviously imports were severely affected.

I believe that if we have another world war ( which is highly likely) We will not have enough land to sustain the uk population. Things were tight then and people only just managed. Today, many farms have shut down and been turned into flats or barn conversions, the land been built on and ever increasingly our green belt is being swallowed up for housing developments

Can the government not see the pending catastrophe ?

The land area of the uk should not diminish to a point were it cannot sustain the demands of the uk population food wise, I believe we have already passed this point. Yes we do have intensive growing knowledge which we didn't have back then but I think come the next war, there will be anarchy in the uk.

We,re doomed :laugh1:

Have u been watching dooms day prepers on sky lol 😛

Why would anyone deny birth control to a 12 year old? The old fashioned ways have been proven not to work, teaching the "birds and bees" threatening them with a damn good thrashing, sending them to their room etc do not work. Kids are going to go out, form quasi relationships, have sex, fact. Be pro active and work with them, not against them. I would hate a 12 year old daughter to come home pregnant, better that she has protective sex than non protected. If a child feels she can't talk to her parents, and confide in them, then she should be able to talk to her GP and take the necessary precautions. The old days of hiding young mothers away in a mental institution or with the nuns are over, thank god.

I think any approach to discouraging under age pregnancy (and indeed unconsidered pregnancy) needs to have a two pronged approach.

Firstly, improve education so that there is no grey area and that by a certain age, everything is understood.

Secondly, more or less entirely remove the government funded social support structure for people who are unable to pay for their own children. If people understood that the consequences of pregnancy were that YOU (not the state) have to provide for your child, there would be far fewer people having children unthinkingly. It's infuriating that those of us for whom having a kid is a painstakingly considered decision have to pay for those for whom breeding is a career choice.

As has been/is being discussed at a recent Political Party Convention.:001_tt2:

Anyway Senior Managment & me figger.

Allow a Max of 2 on full benefits, 3rd only gets 50 % ditto for 4th.

Then NOWT more. Regardless of changing sexual partners.

Plus ending the automatic entitlment to a Government funded home for individual wee minx that gets knocked for this very reason.

Let them stay at home with their almost certainly already Government funded and housed parents.(and 32 year old grandparents forby)

PS

Also at the very least DLA number plates for DLA cars.

Since painting them all the same special stand-out DLA colour scheme is apparently "discriminatory"

PPS

Bah humbug.................. An ah HATE Xmas too!

Dean, The Situation with Katrina and New Orleans is a simple example of jack Asses in control of power. The mayor of New Orleans was in a motel penthouse watching everything go south with days advance notice. Mayor Nagen, AKA School bus nagen allowed all of the folks that were left in the cityto stay right where they were. With enough advance notice he could of had most if not all of the citizens evacuated out of the city by local school buses ready and waiting to move. Instead he choose to allow the busses to become flooded along with the portion of the city where so many people were told to stay put. The Govenor of the State who had authority to contact the Federal Government to help with the evacuation of the folks in New orleans also decided not to contact the feds untill after the fact. The feds are not allowed to come into a State unless given permission by the governor of such state that requires it. Way to little and far to late:thumbdown:
