Hi all.

Firstly not sure if this is in the right thread so apologises if it's not.

Does any one know of a climbing lid that is of a larger size? I have a stein one and it was great but having dreads its now simply to tight. My ground lid is great but of course for climbing I need one that fits the job. So does any one know of any that are suitable for folk with a large head?

Cheers

J

The stein helmets are quite small.

My recommendation would be the new Protos helmet available in three weeks from Clarks Forestry. 👍

OMG, he will look a sight with his dreads sticking out from under that horrid looking helmet, the customers will think its fancy dress. LoL :-)

Cheers for the comments and advice all.

Am afraid a hair cut is out of the question (am already on my 3rd set of dreads now), however am sure that there are many that would love to perform a re-spacing operation or dead-wooding sweap on my head but for now the dreads are staying.

Hopefully I'll get to try a petzl this week, failing that I may have to try one of these protos lids.

Looking like the predators leaner brother could only be a good thing yeah?!?!?

Thanks all
