They forecast the same far all UK mainland within a week to come, but hey this forecast will change a 100 times in the next 7 days.

Sometimes I honestly think that weather forecasters just look out of their windows and write whatever they see.

Long time no post :(

HNY to all :)

Down to the "short" nitty gritty:

Shortlived cold spell, no siberian fetch of a true easterly due to cyclonic activity over Svaalbard/N Scan, very hard frost and some potential of snowfall as the -10 isotherm wedge of air encroaches from the East thru Saturday but the Atlantic looks odds on fave to return midweek, MTF,,,

Thanks for the update. Amazingly warm up until now, nice to see a bit of cold dry weather even if it is only for a short while.

Noooooooooooo

So disappointing we keep being promised cold DRY weather but in never materializes.

Serious question for you Peck. The cold weather rarely comes when predicted but the warm wet stuff always appears to happen when forecast. Is this me having a selective memory or is there a good meteorological reason for this? Not just this year but for as long as I can remember.
