After speaking to Husqvarna UK yesterday I very much doubt it.

 

I don't think I'm speaking out of terms to say be very sceptical if buying one on the promise they have it in stock on the shelf.

Asked husky rep again today,just to make sure i hadnt got it wrong,non available till jan 2013,

I sent an email to husky 4 weeks ago and I still haven't had a reply? Very poor customer service IMO. If they can't get the saws out then why promote them.

I just called them up to ask about the delivery dates as I had read(on here) that it is has been pushed back until January.

 

Well, lets just say, looks like Santa wont be dropping any off this Christmas unfortunately!

 

They said that concerns had been raised that someone(who isnt a dealer )was advertising saws for sale.

 

I think its only fair that I mention this as I wouldnt like to see anyone pay for a saw that isnt yet available.

 

Im sure that as soon as they are available you will all know about it.

 

As for exact release dates as far as I know there isnt one yet.

 

There is hopefully going to be an update on it all soon.

 

Sorry I couldnt be of any further help, although I dont pretend to be at the forefront of knowledge so if anyone has better info than me I would also be very interested to know, as I just want to replace my 200T.

I have a feeling the husky 540 will be launched at the next up and coming APF show in 2014.
