Not turned out great but here is a couple from 13 year ago and 11 year ago. Lack of PPE I know......

The pictures include a job that took the best part of a year clearing all storm damage from oak, ash, sweet chestnut, the big lime stump I'm sat on was going to make or break me in the climbing world....a hated every minute I was up there but I persevered with it and after that, every tree was a doddle .....the big wellly in the last photo was the first one I ever climbed touching near 120ft.....then there's a picture of my best mate lee who is no longer in arb, the saw he was using was a brand new out the box 365 husky."...the poplar job was from 11 year ago back when I had braids in my hair and they hurt when I had my lid on..????

Cool Tim, what year?

2001/2002

found another, deadwooding pines around this house, just swung from tree to tree all day :001_smile:

the real classic non digi pics I've got are from Glasgow though, some quality stuff going on in them , they're in the garage in an old shoe box, 100s of them, will try to dig them out and scan a few this week.

Great pics Reg out of interest what age were you when you started climbing and how did you get into it?

I'd just turned 17. My dad told me on a tuesday night, said he'd got me a job and I started tomorrow, he didn't know what the job was, just that I'd be working outside.

here is a newspaper clip from when i was in forestry college and got a small scholarship from Bartlett.

also, here is my first and last totem pole I ever attempted, i was on vacation at the beach and didn't have long pants, just spurs, saddle, one chainsaw and one rope. Totem pole picture around.... 1995 to 1996 likely.
