wow looks good...will it be capable of lifting something like whats in the first picture??

if its half the price of the other 2 it will be on my shopping list, could of been very handy as well in the last few weeks!

I think it would be hard pushed to lift that piece up in the air on the left hand barrel, without extending the length of the tensioning-lever. However, you can position a micro-prussic or shunt to the lever in line with the RH barrel for increased power….it would obviously be slower, but would lift that log easy enough if you needed to.

I can only estimate at this stage that the retail price will be around £500. Thanks

Looks impressive Reg.

Looking forward to you making a vid of the Volvo drop test on it

Hope it goes as well as the BD for ya :001_smile:

.

Johnson's volvo drop test made me glad I have the deluxe Hobb's rather than the GRCS when the dynamic forces are seriously at play.

If the retail price is around £500 as your estimating that is a great price for a lowering device like that. We currently use a "homemade/bodged" lowering block at work, and although it does do the job well when your snatching big sections down you cant help but doubt weather it will hold the load or not.

Atleast buying something like this which would have been tested, the doubt is gone.
