Exactly .. In some sort of perverse way it was a level playing field . How on earth do they work out the standings now going back to 1999 ? Do they give it to some non descript Spaniard who's credentials are probably less than honourable at best ? Does anyone really care now ?

USDA are beheading an American icon who took on the rest of Europe against all odds , died three times , got dropped by his team when diagnosed , and went on to win the worlds greatest cycling event 7 times in a row . The mentally strongest athlete possibly has never existed or we shall see the like again ...

The only way to deter the use of gear or any other form of cheating is to strip titles from those caught.

We have to try and stop youngsters from going down this road, testing is getting better and better, so sport is getting cleaner, which has to be good.

This years tour was probably one of the cleanest ever, as a result times for stages previously run were well down on previous years.

All sportsmen know that if they cheat and are caught they will lose their titles, IMO there should be no "ifs" or "but's".

Just curious if you have any proof of cheating by Mr. Armstrong, or are you basing your opinion on people claiming to have seen someone do something when after every race or competition the results came back negative for illegal drugs or banned substances in his system:sneaky2:

Please tell me something that supports the claims against Mr. Armstrong other than rumors and statements made but not admissible as evidence against him?

Thanks, the link proves my point. It was a business decision to not fight against this group since nothing was never found in his system, and if anything had been found it would have been accounted for a long time ago.

but 10 of his team riders are testifying he did epo, u could say it was in his business interest not to take it any further.
