I have seen rangers and landrovers with tipper conversions and was just wondering if anyone has done a navara? If so wondering what the load capacity is like and how you found it.

Cheers

I run this for my tree business, and also build them to order.

I have found it really useful, it is small capacity (about 2 cubic metres), but it can get to a lot of places a transit type vehicle won't. A lot of my tip sites are farm yards or stable yards and very muddy in winter, so 4wd is a must really. I did upgrade the leaf springs on my truck which improved the load handling immensely.

Thanks for the replies, i really like the design of the tipper keeping the original bodywork. I tried the link to your website but its coming up with the arbtalk malware problems so not sure if you should inform steve? What sort of price do they come as fitted or diy?

Hmmm, have to look into that. It's my site rather than arbtalk.

There are pics on the Pro Tipper Facebook page if you want to have a look at some of the units I have built.

Prices start from £1800 plus vat for the base model, then there are a few different options for chip boxes.
