What's the general outlook this year

Just wondered how other firewood suppliers were finding this year.

It's started with a bang for me compared with last year, but I'm only small scale compared with others. I've had an influx of log orders over the last 3 weeks and yet on Sunday I thought I was going to pass out on account of it being 27 degrees C / 40ft up a tree ringing wet with sweat.....nothing new there though.

Still not got a processor yet but the wife splits 4 loads a day which is easily enough and it keeps her in shape instead of shelling out on stupid gym fees.

She's a good old stick, but I've got to be honest she's been known to nip over to the shop to buy the odd bag of kindling.....whats that all about. I tell her just knock one of those pallets down!!!!

Very busy doing Landscaping, grass cutting and trees.

Firewood was just something to do when work was quiet

Logs tend to be the poor relation to everything else that goes on in the yard. Ok when work is quiet unless you get the timber free I find it pays about ten quid an hour when you realistically break it down.
