like dean said, this is a major multinational corporation and also i don't think the people across the road would be too chuffed at dean blatting off a few rounds and i know for a fact that the chocolate teapots would be there very, very, very quickly seeing as the copshop is just up the road from there. He also said it's worth keeping in with this firm who i'm sure most people on this forum are familiar with the products of.

Sorry Dean, but the way I seeit , you've not got a starling problem, you've got a PEOPLE PROBLEM. I mean WTF!?! whats wrong with a. people - and b. the company? The PLC should tell the nieghbours to f*uck off sharpish and stop being such a bunch of useless excuses, and whoever's complaining should have a herd of elephants sh*t on their cars. That would put a bit of starling feaces into perspective!

Grrr.

I suppose people would be happy if al the trees were felled, the site drenched in paraquat and DDT, and all the starlings crisped with a flamethrower!

thems the one's i though Dean, i'm sure starlings are protected as has been said, but to be honest i really cant see a solution as the area is just so big, with that many conifers on one site you aint going to stop birds roosting with out removal.Think you have to tell em to tell the neighbours its one or the other, birds and a screen or the trees go and no birds but they get an open view of the place...........cant have it both ways. think the plc needs to get a bit of back bone aswell and start telling em to **** off.

i wonder if you can wrap the conifers in a fine net mesh, the new growth will come through the net and you could possibly get a job knocking back the new growth. just a thought
