PTO compressor.

Does anyone know if you can buy a PTO compressor so when you get a pucture in the woods you can pump it up to get you home. I used to have an old one but it broke and i binned it but i should have repaired it. i cannot seem to find any on the web.

we had a big one that lifted on the 3pl but a contractor ran over the shaft and wrecked the bearings, do you mean something small like this one? i assume the upright goes to your top link to stop it spinning http://www.farmrite.co.uk/product.ds2?p=16171184

Yes theyre still around-- ask your local machinery dealer, another useful thing to have is a liquorice stick kit , its amazing what size holes you can repair with these. Ask your local agricultural tyre repair people they should be able to help you -- theyre around 30 quid a kit and a sound investment.

you could try a viair compressor which can pump up truck tyres fairly quickly and they are quite popular in the off roading community

i saw a guy use a pump, that was like a battery drill. it looked pretty cool. dont know how powerfull it was but might be worth a look. it wouldnt take up much room.

pto pumps are great we have one that is probably knocking on 20 - 30 years +, picked it up from a farm sale, still going stong

flaming ace where did you get that winch i would like one like that i like the way it pushes in the ground to stop it moving.
