HI ROB nice job there mate what make of winch is that then thanks jon :thumbup:

 

It's a warm m8000. With the solenoid on a wire so I could mount it away from the winch. On a wireless remote so no messing round plugging in. Just have to pop the bonnet and switch on the isolator.

Rob, where did u get the synthetic rope for it? If it was off eBay just beware, I had one like that as I recognise the hook and it broke the third time I pulled anything and it was nowhere near your 8000LB pull. I got a dyneema now rope after that and its awesome.

Yeah it was. I'm only gonna use it occasionally so I hope it doesn't break too soon. I saw the dyneema ones but couldn't really afford them at the time!
