Use a cherrypicker ;)

 

I really find it hard to believe taking a separate vehicle to site and home again, setting it up on site, etc,etc can really save any time, even if your climber is not the fastest.

 

TBH, I don't think chogging down from a basket is faster than on spikes.

 

But hay, each to there own :001_smile:

After cutting a chog, leave it sat on top of the stem, then begin cutting the next chog, once the saw is safely buried far enough into the stem leave the saw there, throw down the cut chog and move yourself down the stem a little, this way the saw is always in the stem and not hanging of your harness.
