In Desperate times...My Silky saves the day!

You take for granted how poop free our reserves are in NZ. It's illegal to let your dog foul in the reserves and doggy bags are freely available and replenished regularly. Occasionally you'll get one here and there but more so at the base of trees on streets from strays. One of the worst things is being side swiped by an encrusted, caked branch as its dragged through the chipper.

How's the LJ compare to the SJ silky? Be interested to find out how they compare to the zigzag.

I work exclusively in the "Green Spaces" of this part of London...i not refer to it as "Brown Spaces"...it is everywhere...and i don't see it ever being otherwise:thumbdown: there are more dogs running free around here and kids with dogs more in abundance than i've ever seen in my life..it is such an issue,it may make me consider my options..but hey....like i'm saying at the moment...its payday tommorow so i'm back on Cloud 9:):):)

interestingly enough, paul, thats one of the reasons i jacked my ranger job over 15yrs ago now,,,became a glorified dog warden,,,crapping everywhere,(dogs),off leads, disturbing the wildlife,,,chasing and killing swans,,,,the people presume because its there dog is ok,,,,specially in berkshire ,,,,worst part of tree work for sure,,,

Paul, it sounds really 'crap' to have to deal with that and I'd go mental.

However, I'd also do what you're probably doing anyway, which is to focus on the big picture. You've got a full time job with a pay cheque every month and things can stay the same or get better.

You're in a great position really.

👍

I'm on a roll these days Al..it's just a hiccup..Que sera, sera:rolleyes: As a true Aries and child born in the spring, today felt like a pre-cursor to the most magical time of the year! What a lovely temperature...My Sap is on the march:D what a great day...even young Liam was unphased by the five hours or so grinding the same plot...as the grinding head lifted for the last time i saved the life of a pair of Stag Beetles we found in the arrisings..the larger of the two had half a leg missing...i placed them both into the cavity of a rotten tree stump well off the beaten track.

HI PAUL NICE pics there mate jon
