Sorry to hear about someone else having there gear robbed

There must be a big demand for nicked saws, chippers etc, who on earth is buying all this stuff? :mad1:

My guess tree surgeons......

I honestly think that receiving/buying is even more of crime than the theft itself. Society is wrong in accepting this type of thing as acceptable providing a small punishment is dished out. SEQUESTRATE THEIR ASSETS THEN CUT THEIR HANDS OFF AND REFUSE ALL STATE AID AND BENEFIT - MAKE THEIR RELATIVES PAY FOR THEM TO EAT, DRINK AND HOUSE THEM.

i do think tree surgeons are buying stolen gear but at the same time i dont think they will be, reason for this is i think the "have a go hero" will be on ebay none the wiser see a stihl chainsaw for not very much money and buy it. but the theifs must be thick as mince to put hot goods and a site like ebay. but thats only my opinion.

sorry to hear about that ben
