I've made a couple of loopie's out of amsteel blue 14mm.

 

was using one as a re direct for a cable we were using to haul logs up a bank. Had a steel cable block as the redirect we were hauling up with a 12tonne digger... had the digger bouncing and the block broke, amsteel held strong!

Depending on what your planning on rigging you can make loopies and whoopies out of cover of 16 strand or even some double braid but that's only really for light rigging 16 strand can be a Pita to splice though

I agree with highscale, great winch line though! But not ideal for dynamic applications.

 

Cant big up tenex/yalex enough
