you know they banned the sale of knives on ebay?

I wouldnt mind betting this isnt exactly legitimate and ebay are unaware, until NOW!:001_rolleyes:

Banning sale of knives was to stop kids getting them and stabbing each other - bit pointless as they'll just get a knife out the kitchen drawer. If you get ebay to ban the sale of top handle chainsaws, it will likely lead to a ban of the sale of all chainsaws, which will lead to a ban of the sale of hedgecutters, grinders and then all other power tools.... then motorbikes in case someone buys a bike and falls off it, then cars in case someone buys a car and crashes it. Slippery slope.

Have ebay ever sold knives??

I thought that they had never sold firearms, knives, alcohol, porn and livestock.

Knives have certainly been available via ebay in the past - see BBC - Watchdog: Illegal knives sold on eBay. But it's not actually ebay that sell them. It's the seller that sells them and the sale was just done through ebay.

I know people who have brought top handles on eBay. As I have had to try and fix them.

Knives are available on eBay but it's ebays policy that they cannot be held responsible for the actions of the either the seller or buyer. Good disclaimer.

Let's face it ticket or no ticket if you want one there are plenty out there to get.

Firearms are not available on eBay but you can still buy related items. I.e scopes, stock blanks. But you cannot buy a complete firearm on eBay.

You can buy hen huts too, but not hens :001_rolleyes:

You can also buy a jacket to wear when your shooting :001_rolleyes:

You could buy as many scopes and stock blanks as you like you would not have a firearm.

I've never seen knives for sale on ebay.

I hate to burst your very well created bubble mr skyhuck but I'm afraid they do sell knives.

Kitchen knives

Hunting knives

Locking knives

Stanley knives

Stanley blades

Carpet knives

Chefs knives

Fixed blade knives

And a lot more, just took a ice simple search as knives and 21 odd thousand listing later. Addmitadly most results are to do with sharpening but they are there.
