I no the going cost around here so I juts build it in to my quote with a fair excess, So if they do charge more then i thought im covered. Im not going to pay some one £140 for a day when the other guy can do the same work for £100. But if i have to pay £140 i ant going to lose out.

 

Can we just keep this to on track really need people to come out working for me at the moment and thanks to Mr Collins for taking this the good old arb talk way

I'll do it, my expertise, my truck, my tools.....£350 plus travelling expenses for half a day's physical work.

 

 

 

This thread really reminds me of my early day's when some muppet would say...."Do a good job and there'll be plenty more where that came from"......

Sorry to go off track again. But.....It seems like the going rate for a days work (in your area) is between £100 and £140. Why not take the average wage and say you need someone to do a days work for £120 ?
