well, I hope the build up is worth it..going by the Husky top handle offerings of the last couple of decades, I'll be pleasantly surprised if its a match for a 200t/201t. Also Husky guidbars are as much use as a handbrake on a canoe..best get rid and put an Oregon on asap...

Chap on the Husqvarna stand at the Royal Welsh Show said the saw will be available from October, although the battery 540 has an 'imminent' release date.

The battery one is called the T536 LiXP.

You got one Reg? I want one!

No I had a demo for the day. Here's a link to another forum with some disscussion.

TreeBuzz Board: Stihl MS201

Only thing I dont like is the auto-setting carb thing, which apparently the best way to run in is to hit the big wood straight away....contrary to the norm.

Having said all that, for 201 users you might consider having the saw modded, massive improvement. I got mine done here: Walker Power Equipment ....they get plenty saws sent from Europe and the world over.

Just picked up my 3120 earlier today also....I need a second set of plugs inside my earmuffs now. Great saw anyway, now its phenomenal.

Tried one battery powered saw and that was sufficient to put me off for quite a while. Always keen to see how Husky do with a new climbing saw. Tried the very first one they brought out and it was pants so never been back until recently. Been trying to get one here on trial for a while now but the Husky dealers are never keen so we keep buying Stihl. Shame really because we have 595xp which is quite a good saw. One of the husky dealers actually told us that not much research had been done or money invested in the new climbing saw but I don't know how much credence can be given to that statement. We'll be due a new climbing saw this year so I'm very interested to see what the newby is like.
