Days leaf blowing for me, provided it isn't raining. Good customer of mine has me in just before xmas to tidy the estate before the parties he has.

 

Then a fortnight off I think before I start on the full(ish) diary for January.

 

Enjoy the time off you have and happy Christmas to one and all of you. Lets hope the phones ring a bit more regularly in 2009.

attempting a large poplar takedown again after coming down the 1st time when discovering a large cavity about 20ft up and with some heavy shock loaiding on its way i decided to climb the poplar next in line only to find a bee's nest halfway up anyway bee's been fumigated on sat so its second attempt tommorow at taking this awkward beast down,may have some pics but she's not pretty on the eye :scared1:

Poor little' buggers!

 

I had a nasty Ash reduction (no leader, rotten limbs and a bees nest) I must have tried every bee keeper in the midlands, but no-one would 'fumigate' them.

 

In the end we had to pay a keeper to plug the nest with wax, and the un-plug it afterwards! Cost £100. :scared1:
