I just wondered if any of you have any ideas or advice that he could put into his designs as i do very little lowering my self and my capstan has proved fine for me.

You'll be hard pressed to compete with the "tree runner " is it?

only about 125.00

Have you checked the market and what else is there ( don't mean to offend if you allready have)

Theres too many in the market these days and ive always loved the buckingham model design and have it in two sizes

i'm totally the other way tony i could never get on with the buckingham ones and prefer the isc design in the 2 sizes

do you think it's just that we tend to stick to what we know:confused1:

No, I tried a lot, and went back everytime, have you tried it tied up rather than loose and hanging down?

I just use a stein rc2000

wish i knew about the tree runner when i bought it, but the rc2000 is rated more...... then again i wish i'd had enough spare brass for the rc3000

Good luck to your friend and his venture, the market for lowering devices is saturated.

Unless he can improve on the Buckingham Portawrap 3 he's wasting his time.

It's is an arb design classic, that rare combination of something in treework that not only looks right but does the job right with the minumum of fuss.
