  15. hi all many thanks for all your responses. i cant believe i didn't look at the plan on line before, well they have been granted permission but with condition the main one is: No development shall be commenced until a specification for the sub-surface foundation design of the building has been submitted to and approved in writing by the local planning authority. it shall demonstrate that harm to the root zones of adjacent trees is minimised or avoided. thereafter the foundations shall only be constructed in accordance with the approved specification. well the tree is a mature oak about , with die back 12m tall, dbh 5m. the building will be pad foundation style and one of the pads is 2m away from trunk 18in deep about 1ft by 1ft. i know the trees rpa but the land has always been used for storage with stone down. all other sides are field for cattle . And her is a link i hope to the application 11/15775/FUL | Building to store farming implements and machinery | Northwood Weston Jones Lane Weston Jones Newport Staffordshire TF10 8ED
  16. hi all thanks for quick responses. ok i have included two method statements in my tree survey one with tree protection and the other working in the rpa. should i just let them have the whole survey or just do the method statement then? would i need to do a to a cad drawing for that? also would anyone be willing to offer examples or go over mine dont mind if there fees of course.
  17. Hi all been working on my first tree survey want to get it right. ive just had a thought though as the client is a barn/storage developer and the details of what they wanted was a bit sketchy. They have planning permission but the LPA have come back to them and told them they need to have a report done on the tree to show that they have considered it in their plans. so my question is, isit a tree survey to bs5837 or a arb inpact assessment?

  20. hi all right Ive looked into tree surveying further and getting the required insurance etc.. it is an area i would like to get into but not sure how to start ive been looking at my uni notes in tree reports . where im stuck is alot of companies are using computer software like cad etc. to place there trees, this is beyond me at the moment and im not sure if thats what they require. Its a bigish company they said they want a report on the tree to go with the planning application to show that they recognise the tree is there. its an mature oak tree. Any help would be appreciated or if somebody wanted to survey on my behalf let me know your costs and i could meet you there and learn from you. oh and ive just saw the news about the fr jones break in gits:thumbdown:, im pretty happy with my security but might just go and check now

  22. Hi All after abit of advice i have been asked to do a tree survey for a company on one mature oak tree that is close to some foundations of a new build. I have been doing tree work for 12 years and just set up on my own and this is the first time i have been asked to survey. My question is do i require any tree inspection certificates etc my theory qualifications are: Rfs cert arb (the theory Part) and im in my last year of my foundation degree at myerscough college (on-line) Should i wait to achieve my degree before taking on surveys? any advice would be appreciated

  24. Hi here i my quick comment i have brought and sold loads of stuff on ebay and as far as i am aware when you sell something like a large item e.g vehicle you sate collection only. this should always be the buyer that collects and that's what eBay expects it should not be a courier or agent so you have a right to cancel the transaction as the buyer himself is not collecting.
