PErsonally i like the Honda. we use to use old yamaha DT's on the farm, our agronomist still uses old trial bikes to get around the farm.

if you want something real fun, KTM have just bought out the 350 free ride.....

I used to use quads for rounding up cattle, fencing and coppicing, another guy a crosser, he was always comming off when ragging it, or just not paying attention counting stock, i slowly tipped once when powersliding on wetgrass into a hole though:blushing: but extreme offroad angles, id say a quad is far easier to be safe on

With fuel cans, couple of saws, toolkit, extra clothes, first aid pack, felling aids, pull rope maybe, handwinch maybe, i would never consider 2 wheels - and i love bikes!

Often the places we need to go are too narrow and steep for an ATV. Goat tracks! Single bridges accross rivers.

Seen a German firm does a Hatz diesel in an Enfield.

lots of diesel enfield conversions out there, one on ebay at the moment

always fancied building a diesel bike myself but then i am a bit odd

Not exactly a diesel but toying with the idea of mounting a smallish spot sprayer onto a gas gas trials bike with sidecar for real go ANYWHERE capabilities (read - almost plausible way of getting paid to ride trials bike and not having to carry herbicides on my back).

Might even get away with a small boom type affair?

I know a quad would good but I haven't got one!

Any thoughts?
