Interesting to see this thread at a time when he is in court for 'allegedly' making a colleague throw herself down a crevasse to make the Tv show they were filming a bit more dramatic.

 

Apparantly he offered her £200 to help toward the physiotherapy she needed to sought out the injury she had incurred.

Read his book a few years back - very interesting character with alot of stories to tell.

 

He only became an 'explorer' because he was dismissed from the army after a prank involving lots of explosives!

 

Where did you get the tickets from? I'd like to go to that too.
