Thanks to everyone concerned for the show, went along on Friday and met Steve and Andy on the Axe throwing which I had not done before but i will be doing again really enjoyed that, thank you.

It was good to see other arbtalkers there and I finally bought the T shirt which I have to say is now one of my favourites, bought a few things from F R Jones and the goody bag was a nice touch, good day.

Good to catch up with everyone i knew, and make acquaintances with lots of new folk from here and others. Thanks to you all for entering our little comp, it is the Childrens Trust that benefits 100% from the axe throwing and i know the girls from the Trust really appreciate our help every year. I know its a tough year for many, but these shows do need support if they are to survive into the future, it is business after all. Arbtalk is an ideal medium to keep up with the events, arrange to meet mates and of course chuck sharp pointy things. This show really seemed not to get the usual build up prior to the event that shows normally get. Was it the miserable weather? Or the financial misery? Or just one too many shows? Anyway, we have the APF coming up in September, this is the Big One...see you there?

Massive thanks to Justin for putting the show on despite the conditions.

Had a good crack today, gutted I couldn't make it yesterday for the evening bash.

Unfortunately the rain interfered with my axe throwing radar.

Well done to everyone on the Help for Heroes climb - great achievement.

Here's to a few cold ciders with my shades on next year!

Yes thanks Justin - have a great holiday :001_smile:

Well done for organising this year's show in some very trying conditions added to the personal grief of being turned over at the eleventh hour. Thanks to Elaine for the admin and to Richard O for the site. Forget putting sheep back on it - just get a couple of hippos to wallow around.

Great to meet the other show folk and so many Arbtalkers. We enjoyed the event and while we didn't have too many sales 'on the day' we took some good enquiries and gave away a load of cards and keyrings. Orders will hopefully come. Could have done with a few more people about but hey ho look at the weather and the conditions. Bigger events than ours have fallen by the wayside and we plugged on. When I left most people seemed to be free of the gluey stuff and Geoff T was on hand with his Merlo and chain just in case.

Roll on Summer and thanks one and all :thumbup1:
