Advice on pricing a coni job

I still keep pricing up conifers wrong. Some days I've made a quick escape with their cash, others I've went back for a 3rd day on a two day price just to clear up the brash. But my prices still seem to be good, but not too good I don't get the job. 2 guys with a chipper and tipper comes in at between 5- 600 depending on area, cars they own, that sort of thing ;)

Your response was disingenuous IMO, you knew full well what he meant and was lining up for another lecture about never giving the customer an idea of how long the job will take.....

I'm sure a very large majority of us have (on occasion) slowed a job down a bit by lengthening a tea break or some other surreptitious means because the price is on the heavy side.

 

 

Sometimes my boss tells us to drag out a job, but mostly tells us to get it done quickly as possible, all depends on the client/profit I guess
