lol no you havent.

I started with a landy, had a new engine fitted at 60k, i got it at about 90k. more service history than i had ever seen.

What a piece of S!!!.

Constantly broke down, about once a month! tried loads of the local garages, u would think i brought in some exoctic high tec machine, not something designed in the 50's.

had a lav with the transit engine, 30 k and about 4yrs old, immaculate. Cue the above!

my transit was brand new and faultless but some swine relived me of it and the insurance co is about to pull down my pants and .... me:blushing:

So now i cant afford a brand new truck.

I belive to a certain degree that some vehicles are good, others seem cusred from the start.

I am going to go have a look at the one above and go from there.

thanks

for the info

I have the master so basically the same van, mine has been brilliant, I believe gearbox and mounts can be a problem but mine had a recon box just before I bought it, the 2.8 turbo lump under the bonnet also has plenty of power. I will be getting another when it's time to change.:thumbup1:

IMH the 2.8 turbo engine was far superior to the new Dci's , we had one that averaged 38mpg...

Yes it's great on fuel

I've never used one but my concern would be trying to pull away fully loaded up hill in the wet towing a chipper with just front wheel drive (but maybe it isn't a problem in the real world).

It occasionally happens but it always gets there.

I have it full of chip and towing my 1300kg chipper it it copes well.
