Oregon Chains

Was told by the person working in a local shop that oregon make two lvls of chain quality of the same chains (I think he was saying he had the quality ones rather than the cheapo ones).

 

Any truth in this sounds lke a sales ploy to prevent people buying stuff cheaper online

HI FACE we use STIHL chains off F. R JONES or justin there good on price and service :thumbup1:jon :thumbup:

I think they make chains for " Carlton" and " Sarrp" But I don't know about a difference in quality . You sure he is not talking about pro chain against low kick back home owner stuff ?

 

dont think they make carlton chains there crap chains:thumbdown:

They did used to do 2 and have just bought back a cheaper 3/8050 chain. We will only be stocking the pro version.

 

 

Their new chain is called 91PX but it's only a fraction cheaper - I don't think it will be any different quality - more a hobby style chain for the home user.... as Justin says prob not that useful for those on here...
