10-12 a week is an awful lot - do you tap then out to clear the filings?

I used to use nothing but Oregon but after using up the last of a batch I bought a few years ago, the newest box I bought wasn't great.

Tried Stihl ones and think they seem to last longer than the oregon ones. Dunno best place online for them though as picked mine up local.

thats a hell of alot!

Averageing roughly 10 -20 sharpens per file ( depending on length of bar) yeah that is a hell of a lot of files to get through , maybe the man that sells the files has said "you can only sharpen your saw once, then you have to throw it away", even then thats a hell of a lot of files
