Help I need tools for my course on Tuesday

Hello all,

 

Ive got my CS30 and 31 one course starting on Tuesday, ive been given a list of equipment that i need but can't seem to find anything in the shops i realise its laste as we have the bank holiday on Monday. I would be greatful if anyone could give me an idea oof where i can get the items.

 

Im based on the nottinghamshire/Derbyshire border.

 

The items are as follows:

Guide bar cleaner

Round file

File guide

flat file

depth guage setting tool

chain oil

measuring device for cutter length?

Fellling bar

small wedge.

 

I have tried a shop in Nottingham that i thought would have it all but they don't. Thanks in advance.

Look in Yellow Pages under 'Lawnmowers'. They will often do chainsaw bits as well.

Try the firms in the adds at the right of the screen, these guys are specialists and will give you good advice on whats best for your needs, good luck with the course

Does the Training provider supply you with all the gear, as when i did my 30 31 they provided everything?

They should provide all gear maybe not ppe but everything else should be.

depending where you are give chains direct in Burton a ring, they would have all the required in stock, however i would question whether its worth buying measuring calipers for measuring the legth of the cutters.
