Poplar reduction.

I thought i'd share the reduction that we done this morning, on a typical sunny day here in bavaria, but having said that as i type the rain is on its way! typical. but after nearly a week of 28c you can't complain for spring.

 

The extensive decay at the base, the tree had been pruned about 5yrs ago and the spec was for 3-4mtr reduction.

 

We carried out the job according to the spec of the consultants report and is carried out every 5 years pending on the regrowth. The consultant checks the tree on a regular basis and our work afterwards. The local authority wants to retain the tree, even though its right next to the kids play park!
