what do you do if you cant climb?

I'd like to think I could climb well into my 60's if nothing disastrous happens, but I'd be kidding myself if I thought I would still be quick enough commercially by then.

 

I'm watching this thread with interest as I haven't got a clue what I'll do when I hang up my harness.

I do have decent climbers who I get in for bigger jobs, and may well have to go down the young climber route one day BUT - my nearest competitor operates like this, so if we ever price the same job I always win, simply because he is paying three wages out of the job and me only two.

 

It's a tough one, there is no simple solution.

Seriously though, halfway through Uni, once that is done it should open more doors with better longevity, plus got a few business enterprise ideas that are being prepped and started...

Does your competitor creak and hobble his way out or does he skip home on the sunny side of the street whistleing happy tunes?

If you end up with the same setup as the opposition you will have to beat him on quality and efficiency.
