Should they need to, thats the tree officers job isn't it! To specify what can and can't be done

Well, the app was put in to "re-pollard", an arboricultural report was submitted with it as a supporting document, the proposed work details were put to public consultation, anybody could have raised an objection or concerns. Fact is, despite what everybody says here, nobody, including all those who have slated the work, gave enough of a monkeys to bother. If any of you were that concerned and didn't have faith in the tree officers then you would be checking the Planning Portal all the time for upcoming works, and raising concerns and giving your opinions on how the job should be done.

ANYWAY, I thought there was some forum rule that said we're not allowed to post pictures of other people's work for slating.....

Just sayin'. That's all.

I bet the uni could put an app in to completely remove them all and replace with Leylandii and none of you would notice that app either :001_rolleyes::lol:

Not living in York might have something to do with Us discussing it, not noticing the application notification signs one would have thought

The tree were already ruined, they should have come down and start again.

They should never have been topped in the first place

Absolutely ...
