Last christmas i knocked the back wall of my house out, and rebuilt it with french doors and a new window, and a new dpc. Not doing that again this year however.

I've got three weeks off this year, the last week will be spent doing some coppice work in a local wood. (Ash and Oak). Cold, frosty morning; get a fire going, pull the hip-flask out....can't wait!

2 week shutdown for us as normal...and I for one enjoy every single minute of it...get to do all the little jobs at home I have been putting off, I have some stuff to do to the car I have been meaning to do for a few months at least, spend some quality time with the family, eat drink and be merry...it's a good recharge for the start of a new year.

That said I probably will split all the firewood I have collected at home.:001_smile:
