Help. Radiator is blown!!

Hello chaps (and ladies). The radiator on my 1998 Entec has started leaking so I phoned for a quote to replace it............£900 just for the radiator!! . Does anybody have any other ideas/solutions as that is a bit too pricey

Get it repaired mate, u can get them re cored. There has been a thread on here before about that too, have a search.

I don't understand this, why on earth are they so expensive? I put a new one in my landy and it was about £50!

Scrapyard ? a rad is a rad end of . Most rads will do as long as your prepared to knock some brackets up and sort out new hose's .Although make sure the replacement rad is as big if not a tad bigger .

Hi mate i recently had the rad for my triumph spitfire recored £90 at Arrow radiators in Avonmouth (bristol), give them a buzz very knowledgable and was done by next day!

Where are you Chaff..? Midshire Radiators in Ludlow are good for Shropshire / West Mids...

Kubota part not timber wolf may have some thing to do with price. Where are you based.

I am in Daventry. There is a place nearby that repairs them so will go and see them tomorrow. Will get it re cored then. Got to be cheaper than replacing!! Thanks for the replies:thumbup1:
