Yeah its a pretty cool way to do treework. The chopper can lift 600kg in zero wind but it was quite windy (9 knots) so created more lift and also removed the downdraft. Costs nz$2000 per hour but removing those stems by chogging would of taken days for many guys to do so works out a good price. plus, its a helicopter so it gets cool points. Ill hopefully get some photos and vid off others- the turn around was about 20 secs between pieces so not much time for photos from me

out nr Howick Ian. and im coming down to do more lights next month near you for the erupt festival, also contracted to the "Living Dead" remake for the next few weeks as on site arborist. variety is the word at the moment:)
