A 3.5 tonne tipping trailer would add about 2 tonnes of chip carrying capacity to your rig then. You would need another vehicle to tow the chipper, but if you had a 4x4 the combination of 2 vehicles trailer and chipper would be very flexible and a lot cheaper than a mog.

 

Just a thought.

BE is different to B+E. BE is a trailer under 750kg MAM. B+E is any trailer behind a vehicle upto 3500kg

 

No it's not b+e is sometimes refered to as BE.

 

Catergory B is vehicle under 3.5t and you can have a trailer upto 750kg aswell

3.5 tonners are totally useless on paper but great to run in the rel world.:thumbup1:

 

From what I can gather an OP licence isn't that much of a problem but getting people who can drive said vehicles is another.

 

Something like the 6.5 ton crew cab iveco would be ideal for this job I reckon.
