Retired my first pair after two years, only one choice what to replace them with.

Very good idea not wearing them out doing other stuff, I did a lot of digging and dragging in my first pair.

The waldlaufer are good boots. It come apart a little quicker than the airstream. Still a good boot though and come to think of it I got about 20 month wear outta them. Tht was about 6 years ago.

A few of the guys I work with have them and they have come to but a lot sooner than mine did all those moons ago.

Sounds like very comfy and tough boots.:thumbup1:

Anyone tried the Waldlaufer, Ive noticed they are fairly cheap and seem to have a good spec.

I'm on my third pair of meindl chainsaw boots. I've stuck with the black!
