My Peugeot Partner was a fantastic little beast. 47mpg on a run and about 42 around town (I really miss that now with the LR), really comfy - I did 7k in 9 months. Cheap to buy, cheap to run and did the job :) I miss the sooty van sometimes!

 

 

My old man has a Transit Connect for his lads at work, he reckons its second only to the VW Caddy though, I liked it when I have driven it

I test drove one when I was looking for a small van John, like Tom said, MPG isnt as good as most little vans and for me it just didn't drive very well at all,

 

I got a 56reg Berlingo, drove loads better and the MPG is awesome. Far better than my mondeo tdci I had before .

 

Have a drive of a few different ones and you'll soon see which you prefer mate

got one from work just now going by its own computer its doing 39 mpg thats the average over 10,000 miles not the worst to drive tbh got back seats in and you can really tell the difference when 4 up only problem when it lost power turned out to be a broken -well bent throttle pedal!!!!

I ve got one had it for about 2 years when it's empty it's around 45-50mpg mine is 53 plate with 110k cost £1900 and I tell you what it's one of the best Vans cars... I've ever had never let me down in the last 2 year it has not cost me a Penney great Van!!
