One mans rubbish is another mans...........:thumbup:

 

Had it both ways, good kit fetching peanuts and also good kit fetching double what you think it would - as I said in the first place........

A few years back I had an ancient Husky - think it was a 298 -

It had lots of compression but I couldn't start it, and my ad said so, NO REFUNDS.

It sold for over £300 and they were happy, so was I.

I've seen old saws advertised as non runners going well into 3 figures.

Unbelievable!

Still... as I upgrade my stuff I'm going to recover a fair bit by ebaying the knackered kit

ive listed quite a few saws which i havent been able to fix, listed properly describing the symptoms and they have fetched quite a lot!!

Ther is no bigger ordiance than eBay for selling. Local trader or advertising locally is not going to get a third of people than eBay. Plus they don't mind paying the postage either.

 

I've been to eBay loads of times for bits an I have only found one shop that was cheaper than eBay.

Having a clear out at them moment and have four old saws on there,lots of watching and not much bidding going on....and why to people always ask if theres a buy it now,when you haven't put one in - do they think you'll forget and let it go for a song?
