I take my hat off to the guy hedgelaying along the A68 today in the horizontal snow. Had a nice drive to Grangemouth and back over Carter Bar. Drifts across the roads made things more interesting. 22 degrees last week and -2 today with 4 inch of snow.

Whos had the worst of it?

Glad I'm on a 2 week break at the family home away from Newcastle in Sunny Suffolk at the moment ... was nice to climb a tree without it being windy today

Bright blue skys here in Hastings, expecting a little rain later, but thats it.

Windy and rainy here most of last night and no better this morning. We're going to see what it's like in a bit and maybe venture out. Thought of wading trough brash in this weather aint appealing!

Grim weather yesterday just outside Edinburgh. Working outside but mostly under cover (thankfully). It was like mother nature suddenly woke up and thought "Crap! We've completely forgotten give Scotland a winter - we'll do it all in one day!"
