Firstly let me thank all of you who posted wishes on my "death":big grin

The Staff at the Bristol Heart Institute couldn't have been more helpful or professional.

My two daughters Jenny and Joanna came down from London and were there before i went in for the op and were there when i came back.

the surgeon who did the procedure was brilliant and put everyone at ease.

As for the op its self i don't remember much about it, they used a local for the cut and a light sedation but as i couldn't see what was going on i went to sleep:big grin: i was told this morning that that actually helped.

The Girls took me out for Lunch (which i paid for) and then brought me home.

They both took two days off work, arranged school runs and child minders to make sure their old Dad was going to be ok. I love them so much they are the best.

so now its 4 weeks of no driving and a slow build up to full strength and back to work in about 6/8 weeks.

Thanks again everyone:thumbup:
