saw a guy going past the other day with a walking stick.

 

It was carved with inscriptions from the 23rd Psalm.

 

a very cool looking piece of woodwork

 

Might go with screwing this on to a carved piece of hazel and use it as a stick/decay tapper

I found a smaller alder one recently. Being oak has it some weight to it? The one I have is really light.
