Last week we managed to drop a dead Turky Oak onto an 11kv line. We actually have the contract for the power lines in the area, but this was a private job. The tree split out at the bottom and went 90 degrees to its intended fall. The power guys took the piss all day, unfortunatly the line fed a Park home site, so you can imagine the 'Happy' old folk who couldn't make a cup of tea for 5 hours so instead spent the day venting their anger on us...

I felled a tree on some woman the other day. Her tree. Which I shouldn't have cut down in the first place. Hampshire county council emergency callout. She was an absolute maniac to start with, and the fact that I laughed at the tree hitting her didn't serve to calm the savage beast lol
