who uses hand signaling system here?

I know basic signaling..and use it but..unless everyone on site knows the same its useless.

 

I know most people prob have wireess headsets now..but when i worked for a very large company..all the staff were trained in hand signaling

Is that anything like hand 'gestures'?

we were taught the basics when i was at houghall but then again one of my instructors was paul elcoat so no surprises really. I can just about remember some of them especially the ones for communicating with the climber regarding the last branch he dropped in the middle of the most antisocial bush in the world:001_tongue:

I ran through some of the banksman signals with a Jay and Davis crane operator earlier in the year...theres ALOT to know.

I hardly talk to my groundie now, its signals all the way.

 

Tea, yes, now, no 5 minutes, ok, w*n*er, its all easy really!!
