Timber fairies made off with nearly 3 ton of birch that I had cut and stacked to 3m lengths. Heavy stuff too, and no sign of cutting. Getting desperate for firewood up here I think.

Problem was Jon I was clearing along the roadside, so enough people able to see it stacking up.

 

Only solution is to drop and sned and then leave as full lengths until just before the forwarder turns up. At least I hope its a solution......

hi gutted for you fellas. I`ve known a couple of cases where fly tippers have been had up thru number plates being photed by the wildlife cams so gotta be an investment? Naughty but just chuck a c.t.v sign up when ya ring police. times are tight, dont think i did a dismantle all last year without someone having some wood of us.
