Hi treemedic,

You could get in touch with some of the engineering companies listed in another thread regarding MB tracs for advice - see here:

Also, I think GardenKit is right above - only the large chassis MBs (1300, 1500, 1600, etc) came with the option of a reverse drive system. The small (700, 800, 900) and medium (1000 and 1100) models had no such option.

But maybe you're only interested in a spinning seat like in the old JCB diggers, etc, anyway....

If you take the side panel off the centre console there is just enough room to mount the passenger seat in front of the little left hand square window. Hydraulic controls can then be mounted where the passenger seat used to be.

Not a pretty solution but cheaper than buying a WF Trac.

I think Atkinson Voss have a MB Trac 1500 in with turning cab if you want an easier solution.

Yea that one at frank atkinsons is engine damaged and it's too big for most sites and stands we work in. I've spoken to Simon about putting a 1500 cab on a 1000 and when he stopped laughing he said it wouldn't work without major time and money. What I'm going for is cut out the back wall of the cab extend back and add two new quarter windows to the sides. Reweld back back on fit controles inboard and work out the seat swivel. Should be good when done. Lol
