Hey everyone, I'm looking to buy a leaf blower, i know stihl are good but they tend to be quite high priced even on ebay.

Are there any cheaper ones out there for the same sort of quality?

If anyone wants to sell one to me that would save me some hassle lol.

Thanks alot. Josh

Don't buy of ebay as there silly money, get one from a dealer on here, yes there are other makes, echo, husky, efco, makita etc there all good but stihl has the edge IMO.

Don't get me wrong, i don't have loads of money, but when i looked into buying a leaf blower, for me as it is used on every job i bought a brand new one.... a stihl bg86 hand held, it was only 221 inc vat from jonesies.

£221-00 for a blower that gets used on every job, everyday and will last a long time is peanuts imo, and not worth even considering 2nd hand at that price.

I'm sure others would agree.

If you cannot afford this then look at other makes that the sites on the right hand side of the page sell as there will be some good deals to have :)

Good luck

I know what you all mean about Stihl , but there are other good quality ones about at similar money. The Tanaka THB260PF is excellent, but more costly than the Stihl at around £250.

But I have sold several Mitox 260B models to contractors and they have proved to start and work every bit as well, and they have stayed together. Only £134.00

If you are on a tight budget they are well worth getting.
