What petrol strimmers are you using, & any pros/cons?

As the first person to ask that question and not receive an answer, I gave up trying to help.

 

apologies to pleasant & like it or lump it, ive not been online in a couple days.

i Will mainly be using it for garden lawns but will be switching head to a blade for tougher stuff eg. brambles.

Seemed obvious that the OP was after something equivalent to the FS400, but maybe that's just me being simple.....

 

Not simple at all Pedroski:thumbup1: Which was the reason i mentioned what i was using so folks would get an idea what i was looking for:thumbup:

I would recommend you get two

a smaller 23 kawasaki or similar for lawns straight stem D handle so you can turn it upside down

a fs400 for brambles- stihl with cowhorns

Exactly what I suggest to my customers (well almost, Tanaka TBC230 instead of Kawasaki)

 

The 23 cc does most of the day to day use and is light to use.

 

A clearing saw or large brushcutter for the heavy work.
